11 Shots Fired Into Burbank Home
A dark colored vehicle was seen speeding away. Burbank police believe shooting is an "isolated incident."
BURBANK, IL — Burbank police are investigating a shooting that happened early Friday morning on a residential street. Police say someone fired multiple shots into the house from the street. No injuries were reported, and police believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
Around 1 a.m. Friday, May 24, Burbank police went to the 6100 block of West 83rd Street in response to a shots-fired call. When officers arrived, they found approximately 11 spent shell casings in the street. Bullet holes were also found on the home’s exterior.
Several people were apparently at home during the shooting. Members of the household told officers they did not know why anyone would be shooting at their house. Police said it was an isolated incident and that the intended target lives there.

A dark colored vehicle of unknown make and model was observed leaving the area. Police said the owner of the property could not be reached after the shooting. Investigators are reviewing city cameras and attempting to obtain residential camera footage from the area.
