Shop, Sip, And Snack At McAuley Mothers Club Holiday Market

CHICAGO, IL — The Mothers Club of Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School is planning a holiday market featuring artisans, appetizers and unique items that you won’t find in a mall from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15. The McAuley Holiday Market offers the perfect opportunity to shop for family and friends, featuring home decor and goods, festive decorations and decadent food creations.

This year’s holiday market will differ from years past. The McAuley Mothers Club hopes that by holding the market early, community members can get a jump start on preparing for the holiday season.

“We welcome our entire community to come and shop early for holiday festivities,” mothers club president Angela Villanueva said. “This market is perfect for finding hostess gifts and Christmas gifts, or teens that need to do some secret Santa shopping. Our shoppers will get the first opportunity to see and purchase our vendors’ and crafters ‘ holiday items.”

Shoppers can imbibe on complimentary appetizers. Adult beverages will also be available for purchase. The holiday market will be held at McAuley, 3737 W. 99th St., Chicago.

General admission is $8, and $5 for students. Proceeds will go toward McAuley's scholarship fund and a bus for next year's prom. Visit the Mother McAuley Mothers Club Facebook page for more information.
