Smith Village Chef Bites Dog

CHICAGO, IL - Smith Village Executive Chef Gautham Rao downed a second Vienna beef hot dog served from a Joey’s Red Hots food truck parked on 112th Place near Western on National Hot Dog Day. The truck quickly became a popular feature of Smith Village’s picnic for all employees.

“Delicious fast-food has its place in summer fun,” Rao said.

Located at 11500 S. Western Ave., Joey’s Red Hots is also is a favorite lunch spot of employees of Smith Village, a life plan community at 2320 W. 113th Place.
