Smith Village Gets 5-Star Rating From U.S. News & World Report
A U.S. News & World Report list ranks Smith Village as one of the best nursing care facilities in the state.
CHICAGO - Smith Village in Beverly/Morgan Park is one of 160 skilled nursing care providers statewide and one of 19 in Chicago to earn a top 5-star rating in a U.S. News & World Report study based on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. In Illinois, there are more than 1,200 licensed skilled nursing care facilities and officials with Smith Senior Living, which operates both Smith Village and Smith Crossing in Orland Park, have shown pride that both their facilities are among the 5-star list in the 2018-2019 version of the rankings.
“Due to changes in how U.S. News & World Report assesses skilled nursing care providers, fewer in Illinois made the cut this year,” said Kevin McGee, president and CEO of Smith Senior Living. “We’re proud, knowing both Smith communities were recognized as among the nation’s and the state’s very best.”
