South Side Irish Parade 2018: Watch It Again (Replay)
Watch a replay of the South Side Irish Parade as it marched down Western Avenue on a beautiful day in Beverly.

CHICAGO, IL - The time has come. Welcome to that post-South Side Irish Parade Day feeling. Insert sad face here.
But before you start counting down to days to next year's parade (we're looking at 369 days ahead of us since next year it will be held on March 16, 2019), take a look back at what was an epic one in 2018. About 150,000 spectators attended the Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood's largest yearly event and there were no arrests reported.
During the parade, Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Patch brought you a portion of it live on Facebook. Unfortunately, the phone reception became shaky about a half hour into the broadcast and I had to cut off the feed.

I tried desperately many times to start a new feed, hoping my cell service would gain enough strength to do so, but there was no such luck on St. Paddy's Day this year in that regard. Many apologies to the hundreds of people watching the feed from all over the country.
All in all, however, the 2018 South Side Irish Parade was one of the best ever. The sun shined bright on the South Side Irish and temperatures were more than bearable considering the high spirits of the thousands who attended.
