The Southwest Symphony Orchestra Kicks Off Its New Season "Hear! Here!" with "Suite Overtures"
The Symphony's September 28 concert treats listeners to a potpourri of musical gems including Berlioz's "Roman Carnival Overture."

It’s Suites for the sweet when the Southwest Symphony Orchestra tunes up to present its first concert of the season Suite Overtures at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 28, in the Ozinga Auditorium of Trinity Christian College, 6601 W. College Dr. (Rt. 83), Palos Heights. The Southwest Symphony is under the baton of Director David Crane.
Rep includes Massenet’s Scenes pittoresque (Suite No. 4) which transports listeners to the French countryside in the 1800s, and Dvorak’s American Suite, a melding of American and Slavic sonorities.
