St. Barnabas Holds Blood Drive For CPD Officer Danny DeHoyos

Blood donors are needed Saturday, Nov. 5 to donate blood for Danny DeHoyos, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

CHICAGO — Blood donors are needed this Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. Barnabas School, 10121 S. Longwood Drive. St. Barnabas and the Community Blood Center are hosting a blood drive for Chicago Police Officer Danny DeHoyos, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Officer DeHoyos was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on Aug.19. The treatment for ALL is the most extensive and prolonged of any other cancer. Blood donations save lives.

To schedule your donation, either visit Community Blood Center using the sponsor code 36538 to locate this blood drive or call 1-800-280-4102. Be sure to bring a photo ID to the appointment.
