St. Christina Students Dazzle Judges With Inventions

Not since the 'bass-o-matic' have there been inventions quite like these at St. Christina's Invention Convention.

CHICAGO, IL -- Dusting fan blades can be a hassle, especially ceiling fans. Keira Cotter, a seventh-grader at St. Christina School, put her ideas and imagination to work and came up with FANtasic FAN blade covers.

Keira took first place honors Feb. 27 at the St. Christina’s Invention Convention for her terrific invention. The seventh-graders were tasked with coming up with inventions designed to “make life better.”

The inventions were judges by educators from local high schools. Other students who placed were:
