Summer Swelter At Horse Thief Hollow Benefits Connor Lowry Scholarship Fund
A local brewery hosted a parking lot party to honor a fallen hero from Beverly.

CHICAGO, IL - Those who attended Horse Thief Hollow’s annual Summer Swelter parking lot party helped benefit the Connor T. Lowry Memorial Fund, which a non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships to St. John Fisher Catholic School.
Dozens of neighborhood residents and visitors came out on Saturday to support local breweries and artisans, according to a blog post on the Horse Thief Hollow website.
A color guard began the event with a tribute to Connor Lowry, a Beverly resident and Marine Corporal who was killed during combat operations in Afghanistan.

The Horse Thief Hollow blog post thanked all those who came out for the party on Saturday.
