SXU Bowling Teams Complete 1st Ever Competition

LAFAYETTE, IL -- The Saint Xavier University bowling era is underway. The Cougars completed the school's first competition in the history on its bowling program over the weekend as the men's team finished 14th out of 20 and the women ninth out of 13th in at the Boilermaker Classic in Lafayette, Indiana.

The top bowlers for the Cougars in SXU's first ever competition were freshman Ryan Koesema, who led on the men's side with an average score of 163.4 and Monica Colon, who had an average of 162.6 to lead the women.

Over the two day tournament, the men finished with a 167 average while the women posted a 158.7 average.
