SXU Grad Gets Tryout With the Bears

Spencer Nolen, a St. Xavier University graduate and punter/kicker for the SXU Cougars, had a private workout for the Chicago Bears last Friday at Halas Hall in Lake Forest. He earned the shot after performing well at a pro day in Evanston in March. 

"I did really well punting wise," Nolen told DNAInfo.com in Chicago. "I really, really bombed it punting — much better than I thought I'd do." Nolen graduated from the Mount Greenwood university and works as a financial adviser.
