SXU Hosts Information Session For Transfer Students
Learn how to transition to Saint Xavier University for the spring 2019 semester at transfer day event on Oct. 16.

CHICAGO, IL -- Are you transitioning from community college to a four-year university or considering finishing your degree? Saint Xavier University has a long and rich history of servicing transfer students, reflected in its top ten designation as a private, non-profit, destination college for transfers in the state of Illinois. Prospective students interested in transferring to SXU for the 2019 spring semester are encouraged to attend Transfer Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Transferring can be intimidating, but SXU works continuously to not only simplify the process but to also make the collegiate experience affordable by offering merit scholarships for full-time transfer students and a competitive, reduced tuition rate for students looking to attend the university part-time. By earning a bachelor’s degree, you gain access to a much larger pool of career options and achieving that in a comfortable environment can make all the difference. SXU’s community of students, faculty, staff and growing network of over 35,000 alumni helps establish both the foundation for academic success as well as the opportunities to build meaningful, professional relationships.
On Transfer Day, students can participate in on-the-spot application reviews and learn more about merit scholarship determinations, transfer credit evaluations, appointments with academic advisors, registration opportunities for the next semester and the creation of financial aid award letters. To get the most from the day, attendees should: apply online at no cost; request official, sealed transcripts from all previous and current institutions; and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), including SXU’s school code of 001768.
