SXU’s Shannon Center partner with state representatives to host self-defense seminar

Saint Xavier University’s (SXU) Shannon Center will partner with State Representative Kelly Burke and Senator Bill Cunningham for “Women’s Self Defense Seminar” scheduled for Monday, June 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Shannon Center’s back gym located on SXU’s Chicago campus, 3700 West 103rd Street. Attendees will learn useful self-defense tips from a trained law enforcement officer. This free, interactive seminar will provide information and techniques for protecting yourself from assailants.
