Take A Swing For Scholarships At The SXU Golf Classic

Enjoy a fun-filled day of golf, socializing, a gourmet dinner and stand-up comedy at Saint Xavier University's Golf Classic on Aug. 6.

CHICAGO, IL —The 23nd annual Saint Xavier University Golf Classic tees off Tuesday, Aug. 6 at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 S. 82nd Ave. in Orland Park. Golfers will enjoy breakfast, a full round of golf, lunch, reception and dinner. Proceeds will benefit SXU's student scholarship program.

Enjoy a fun-filled day of golf, socializing, networking, and a gourmet dinner. The event supports student success with scholarships, so come on out and take a swing for scholarships. Since 1997, SXU's annual golf classic has raised more than $1 million for student scholarships.

Check-in and breakfast begin at 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cocktails dinner, golf prizes and a raffle drawing are from 3 to 5:30 p.m. South Side born and bred comics Jeanie Doogan and Jim Flannigan will perform stand-up comedy at the reception and emcee the awards ceremony.

Online registration for individual golfers is $250, including greens fees and golf cart. Non-golfers can purchase a dinner-only option for $50. Several sponsorships are also available.
