Train Strikes, Kills Man in Blue Island
Traffic closed on 127th Street after fatal accident Wednesday morning.

CHICAGO, IL - A man was struck and killed by a CSX freight train early Wednesday morning in Blue Island.
The train hit the man near 127th Street and California Avenue just before 4 a.m., according to a Chicago Tribune report. The man has yet to be identified.
127th Street was closed to traffic for a period of time between California and Highland avenues. Police and fire units were on the scene for more than an hour.
