UIC Hosts Government Job and Internship Fair This Friday
Local, state, and federal agencies will at University of Illinois at Chicago Friday, Nov. 2.

CHICAGO, IL University of Illinois at Chicago is hosting a government job and intern fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2. The fair will be held in UIC Center East, 750 S. Halsted St. in Illinois Rooms A & B. Attendees should dress professionally and bring lots of resumes.
Various local, state and federal government agencies from around the Chicago area will be recruiting for jobs in law enforcement, social services, healthcare, accounting, economics, environmental and civil engineering, chemists, scientists, attorneys and more.
Some of the law enforcement agencies that will be recruiting include the Crystal Lake and Buffalo Grove police departments, Illinois Department of Corrections, FEMA, CIA and Drug Enforcement Administration. The CIA, for example, has over 100 positions available. The DEA is also looking for special agent/criminal investigators.

Ald. Brendon Reilly of the 42nd Ward, Illinois Department of Child and Family Services, Illinois Department of Human Services, Internal Revenue Service, New York State Taxation and Finance, Metra, UIC Public Administration, Young Government Leaders Chicago and more.
Undergraduate and graduate college students looking for internships are also encouraged to attend the job fair. All majors are welcome, as long as students have an interest in government. Numerous internships are available across all disciplines.
