Veteran On-Line Photo Contest - State Rep. Fran Hurley

Rep. Hurley Honors Veterans and Active Service Members through On-Line Photo Contest

As a tribute to veterans and active service members, State Rep. Fran Hurley (D-Chicago) is giving proud families an opportunity to show off their favorite photos of loved ones from the military.

Between now and October 22nd residents from the 35th District are invited to submit a photo and caption of a veteran or active service member to Hurley’s office email at franhurley35@gmail.com. Photos will be at www.franhurley.com beginning October 27, and residents can vote for their favorite photo via email at franhurley35@gmail.com through November 9th.

Voting directions will be provided on the web site.

“This is a great way for us to honor our heroes,” said Hurley. “These are the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we enjoy and they deserve to be recognized for that commitment.”

Monetary prizes will be awarded to the three photos that receive the most on-line votes. First, second and third place winners will be announced on Veteran’s Day, November 11th.
