CHICAGO, IL - Chicago police are reopening a use of force investigation into a May 2011 incident in which robbery suspect Tiffani Jacobs was thrown to the ground by a police officer.
Police Chief Eddie Johnson has stripped two police officers involved in this incident of their police powers.
Jacobs and Floyd May were accused of robbing a McDonald's on the North Side and initiated a chase.
Watch here at the 6:53 mark of the video as a police officer grabs Jacobs, who appears to have her hands up, and throws her to the ground before other officers swoop in.
