White Supremacist Flyers Found In West Beverly, Mt. Greenwood
Racist propaganda returns to the 19th Ward for the third time in one year.

CHICAGO — Racist propaganda has been found in the neighborhood for at least the third time over the past 365 days. This week, flyers promoting white supremacist rhetoric were found in multiple places in the neighborhood, including on several car doors according to WGN.
19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea shared the news on social media on Monday, alerting residents to a hate group's latest apparent attempt to recruit here.

O'Shea told the Beverly Review that the flyers were found in the 10000 and 10100 blocks of South Artesian Avenue in West Beverly and the 10600 and 10700 blocks of South Sawyer Avenue in Mount Greenwood. He described the person who distributed the fliers as a white man, about 50 or 60 years old.

The same flyers, which list eight websites that promote white supremacist and anti-Semitic points of view and titled "No White Guilt," were found in near south suburban Oak Forest in recent days. There, the material was placed in sealed plastic bags and weighted with rocks before being placed on lawns in sections of the town.
The latest find in West Beverly and Mount Greenwood means material promoting hate speech has been found in the 19th Ward at least three times in the past year.

Around this time last year, a Mount Greenwood woman reported finding fliers with similar content — these headlined with the phrase "White Lives Matter" — on cars near 110th and St. Louis.
Earlier this year, racist stickers were found on light poles lining the route of the South Side Irish Parade on March 17.
