Woman Dies After Crashing into Snow Bank

A woman died after crashing her car into a snow bank in Oak Lawn Sunday evening. 

Sonja Edgerton, 49, of the 1700 block of West 95th Street, drove her vehicle into a snow bank in the 4600 block of West 95th Street in Oak Lawn, Sun-Times Media reports. 

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she was pronounced dead at 6:52 p.m, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner. 

The accident is under investigation.
