2 Men Apprehended On Burglary Warrants After Foot Chase: BPD
Bolingbrook police said they recovered a "significant amount" of suspected cocaine thanks to the "proactive and thorough" investigation.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Two men were apprehended on burglary warrants and charged with additional felonies following a foot chase Sunday, officials said.
Through the "proactive and thorough" investigation, police also recovered a "significant amount" of suspected cocaine, according to police.
At about 1:56 p.m., police were stationed near Bolingbrook Drive and Boughton Road attempting to contact Carlos Miller, from Bolingbrook, who was wanted out of Will County for a burglary charge. The man was with Joliet resident Robert Allison, both of whom fled on foot in opposite directions as officers approached, according to a news release.

Police pursued 38-year-old Miller across Bolingbrook Drive before firing a Taser and taking him into custody in the 400 block of Bolingbrook Drive. Officers stopped Allison and arrested him without incident in the 200 block of Gettysburg Drive.
Police said neither officers nor the two men reported injuries due to the chase.

Allison, of the 3700 block of Thoroughbred Lane in Joliet, was charged with the following:
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Resisting a peace officer
- Will County warrant for burglary
Miller, of the 0-100 block of Claridge Court, faces these charges:
- Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Obstructing justice
- Resisting a peace officer
- Grundy County warrant for larceny
- Will County warrant for burglary
- Will County warrant for burglary
"Chief Rompa applauds the proactive team effort from our Patrol and Problem Oriented Policing teams," officials said in a Tuesday news release.
