5th Annual Bolingbrook Winterfest Event Jan. 23

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Don’t let the cold bother you, get out and enjoy it with Bolingbrook Park District! On Saturday, Jan. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the 5th Annual Winterfest indoor/outdoor event will take place at the Annerino Community Center/Central Park. This free family event will be highlighted by an appearance from Max, the Alaskan Malamute from Plummery Tails.

Indoor events start at 10 a.m. and will include: inflatables, photo booth, climbing wall, spin art, Storytime by Fountaindale Public Library, tattoos, a cookie decorating station by Ashbury’s at Boughton Ridge, indoor snowball fight and open gymnastics, performances from Danceforce, Illusions Gymnastics and Storm Cheerleading.

Outdoor events occur throughout the day, including (weather permitting): fire pit, snowball / tennis ball slingshot, snowman building contest, hockey slap shot from Rocket Ice Arena, Archery by the Kiwanis Club, Ice Safety Seminar with Troy of the Plainfield Fire Department and much more!
