ALDI Opens New Store On Weber Road

ALDI is adding 25,000 new jobs in stores, warehouses and offices nationwide by 2022.

BOLINGBROOK, IL -After 15 years serving the community, ALDI will open a new Bolingbrook location, offering a smarter, faster and easier grocery shopping experience. The new store will be located at 317 N Weber Road and will replace the current store located at 1310 Lily Cache Lane, which will close its doors on Nov. 7.

ALDI held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, followed by its popular Golden Ticket giveaway offering gift cards to the first 100 customers. Shoppers also sampled ALDI-exclusive brand foods and entered a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce.

"As part of the product expansion, ALDI is increasing its fresh food selection by 40 percent with many organic, convenient and easy-to-prepare options. ALDI stores also feature open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally-friendly building materials. The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday," the press release notes.

"Our customers in Bolingbrook have been shopping with us since 2003, and we’re excited to invite them to experience our new look,” said Heather Moore, Dwight division vice president for ALDI. “While the ALDI product offerings have increased and in-store experience improved, our main goal has not changed: we focus on offering the premium groceries our customers want at prices they can afford.”

To celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated Bolingbrook store, ALDI hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Golden Ticket giveaway on Thursday, Nov. 8.
