Art Shows, Street Markets Planned At The Promenade Bolingbrook

Arts on the Row will feature art from local artists available for sale.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Summer is in full swing at The Promenade Bolingbrook. In addition to its Thursday night summer concert series, The Promenade Bolingbrook will also host art shows and street markets on Thursday nights.

From 6 to 9 p.m. on the first Thursday of June, July and August, Arts on the Row will be held, according to the shopping center. The event, sponsored by the Bolingbrook Arts Council, will display and sell art pieces from local artists.

Then, on the last Thursdays in June, July and August, a street market will be held along both sides of Sandburg Way. More than 65 booths will sell one-of-a-kind items and grab-and-go foods, according to the shopping center.

Some of the vendors include Treats and Paws, The Trendy Bumpkin, Teas 2 Love, Color Street and Jess’s Paper Goods. The Bleuer Family Farms, from Lisbon, will sell fresh produce, beef, pork, chicken, eggs, honey and more.

“The addition of the art show and street market will enhance the appeal of our summer concert series,” Steven Yee, general manager of The Promenade Bolingbrook, said in a news release. “Coupled with the wide variety of stores and restaurants, the Summer Concert Series at The Promenade Bolingbrook is the place to be on Thursday nights this summer.”

The Promenade Bolingbrook will also be distributing complimentary coupon booklets from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday nights near the Prince Arcade. This coupon booklet contains exclusive discounts to participating retailers at the center. The coupons are single use and the booklet is valid for one year.
