Bolingbrook Fire Department Plans Open House

BOLINGBROOK, IL - In honor of National Fire Prevention Week, the Bolingbrook Fire Department has planned an open house on Oct. 14.

The open house, which is held annually, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fire Station No. 4, 1111 W. Boughton Road, in Bolingbrook.

Nicor Gas will participate in the open house, sharing important information and resources to help families know what to do in the event of a natural gas emergency, according to a release from the business.

There will also be demonstrations from the department's specialty teams and a chance to meet Bolingbrook firefighters.
