BOLINGBROOK, IL — At the Tuesday Bolingbrook Village Board meeting, firefighter Tara Moser was honored by both the VFW and the Forty And Eight, a charitable society of American veterans.

Palmer said each year the Post submits a firefighter of the year, and Moser was chosen at the state level for the honor. Moser was presented with the award at the VFW state convention in July.
Moser was also honored as hero of the year for 2022 by the Forty And Eight earlier this summer.
