Bolingbrook Park District Plans 'Visit Your Local Park' Programs

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Check out several of Bolingbrook's parks with the park district's "Visit Your Local Park" program on Fridays throughout the summer.

The Bolingbrook Park District will hold the park visits from June 9 to July 28, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program is free and there is no need to register.

The park visits will feature a trackless train, a portable climbing wall, and you can grab a book to check out from the Fountaindale Public Library bookmobile.

The schedule is:

• June 9, at Central Park, 201 Recreation Drive
• June 16, at Sunset Park, 1500 Waterside Drive
• June 23, at Wipfler Park, 549 Rockhurst
• June 30, at Indian Chase Meadows, 525 Pheasant Chase Drive
• July 7, at Champions Park, 1600 Firethorn
• July 14, at Remington Lakes Sports Complex, 811 Remington Blvd.
• July 21, at Johansen Farm Park, 770 Hartford Lane
• July 28, at Winston Woods, 200 Winston Drive
