Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Aug. 15-22

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Here's a look at some of the criminal activity investigated by Bolingbrook Police between Aug. 15-22. The following information is courtesy of the police department:

AUG. 15

Officers were called to Lowe’s, 245 S. Weber Road, for a retail theft. Suspect selected items from display and fraudulently returned the merchandise at 2:53 p.m. Loss valued at $379.

AUG. 16

A battery was removed from a vehicle on the 200 block of Lee Lane between Aug. 9-16. Loss valued at $150.

Michelle Lopez, 25, 100 block of Monticello Circle, was charged with an in-state warrant and battery, following a call to the 100 block of N. Lancaster Dr. at 1:35 p.m.

AUG. 17

Jaevion West, 21, 200 block of Hanburg Lane, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at I-55 & SE Frontage Rd. at 3:22 p.m.

Lea Lowery, 28, 17700 block of Tulip Lane, was charge with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Boughton Road & Preston Drive at 11:13 p.m.

Lester Gaines, 48, 400 block of Holden Ave., Romeoville, was charged with improper lane usage, driving on a suspended license, suspended registration, no insurance and DUI, following a traffic stop at Frontage Rd. & Bolingbrook Dr. at 11:28 p.m.

AUG. 18

Kevin Zehme, 52, 1600 block of Prairieview Blvd., was charged with leaving scene of property damage accident, failure to report an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and driving on a revoked license, following a traffic stop on the 1600 block of Prairieview Blvd. at 4:38 p.m.

Jerome Brown, 38, 14400 block of Independence Dr., Plainfield, was charged with an in-state warrant, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Lily Cache & Picardy Ln. at 1:47 p.m.

AUG. 19

Snjezana Vignjevic, 42, Des Plaines, was charged with a DUI, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. & I-355 at 3:27 a.m.

AUG. 20

Mario Mora, 30, 600 block of Lynn Ave., Romeoville, was charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, traffic sign violation and possession of controlled substance, following a traffic stop on the 100 block of N. Schmidt Rd., at 2:02 a.m.

AUG. 22

Two windows were broken to vehicles parked on the 500 block of W. Boughton Rd. between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. An IPhone and backpack were taken.

Sheldon Roberts, 52, 243 Gettysburg Dr., was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to property, following a patrol stop on the 100 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 1:57 p.m.
