Bolingbrook Police Launch Fall Citizens Police Academy

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Police Department will offer a 10-week citizens police academy this fall, giving a chance to get an inside look at the police department.

According to the Village, the 10-week course runs on Wednesdays from Oct. 7 to Dec. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. Register by Oct. 2, and email communityoutreach@bolingbrook.gov to secure your spot.

Participants will learn from officers and police staff through interactive sessions, demonstrations and hands-on activities, according to the Village. The hands-on experience gives the chance to test equipment, interact with officers and learn more about everyday police work.
