Bolingbrook School to 'Brave the Shave' for St. Baldrick's

March 14 event will benefit the fight against children's cancer.

Jamie McGee Elementary’s PTO will host a “Brave the Shave” St. Baldrick’s event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14, at the Bolingbrook school, 179 Commonwealth Drive.

In addition to watching heads being shaved in the name of the charity helping to fund research to find a cure for childhood cancers, attendees will be able to have fun with temporary tattoos, hair chalk, Jamberry Nail Demonstrations and sales, and much more, according to Valley View School District.

There’s still time to register to become a ”shavee” on the school’s St. Baldrick’s page.
