Bolingbrook Trustees Approve Apartment Community, New Businesses

Revised apartment complex plan includes 288 apartment units.

The Bolingbrook Village Board on Tuesday voted to allow developer Lennar Multifamily Communities to build an apartment complex on 21 acres at the southwest corner of Janes Avenue and Falconridge Way.

A revised plan approved by trustees calls for nine separate three-story buildings, with a total of 288 apartment units, 10 garage buildings and a clubhouse.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Lennar initially received approval to build on the site in 2009. The original plan included 320 apartment units, along with office space.

Also on Tuesday, the board approved plans for a new Dunkin Donuts at 760 S. Weber Road, along with O’Reilly Auto Parts, 440 N. Bolingbrook Dr.; and Marco’s Pizza, 693 W. Boughton Rd.
