Bolingbrook's Route 66 Monument Unveiling Planned Thursday
An unveiling ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Promenade between Bass Pro and DSW.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook, the Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Promenade Bolingbrook will unveil the new, interactive Route 66 monument on Thursday.
An unveiling ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Promenade between Bass Pro and DSW.
The project was funded by the Route 66 grant from the state.

Signs have been distributed along the historic road and corridor, and are or will be located in other towns like Lockport, Joliet, Darien, Wilmington, Elwood and Crest Hill.
