Book Sale Returns To Fountaindale For First Time Since 2019
The library's biannual book sale was canceled in the spring and fall of 2020 due to COVID-19 but returns this weekend from Oct. 1-3.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — In need of new literature? The Friends of Fountaindale Library is hosting its biannual book sale this weekend, with public sale times starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The book sale returns after both the spring and fall sales last year were canceled due to COVID-19. This weekend, hundreds of gently used books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and more will be for sale at the Fountaindale Library, located at 300 W. Briarcliff Road. Proceeds from the sale will go to directly support library programs and materials.
The public and library non-members can shop the sale — with an admission fee of $2 — from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. Want to avoid the lines and get early access? People can become a Friend and shop the sale Friday afternoon from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
