Local Winery Tours Peller Estates Niagara-On-The-Lake in Ontario, Canada

Peller Estates Winery, located in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario, Canada is well known for some of the world's finest Ice Wine.

However, they also produce some fantastic varietals such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Baco Noir, Meritage and Cabernet Franc.

We had the opportunity to taste many of these wines including their Private Reserve 2008 Cabernet Franc which was incredibly full bodied and absolutely delicious. The Cabernet Franc is only produced in exceptional years, so we will have to wait a few years before another release.

We were able to score two bottles at the winery before they were completely out of stock.

This was a fantastic visit to explore the great wines of the Niagara Ontario  Region.
