Construction On New Starbucks Should Begin In Spring

Plans call for a 2,218-square-foot building to be built on a currently vacant lot at 115 W. Boughton Road.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Construction on a new Starbucks in Bolingbrook should begin in the spring, Director of Community Development Matt Eastman told Patch.

Final plans for the new Starbucks location were approved by the Bolingbrook Village Board in December.

Plans call for a 2,218-square-foot building to be built on a currently vacant lot at 115 W. Boughton Road. There will also be a drive-thru and outdoor dining area.

Eastman said groundbreaking is tentatively scheduled for April or May, and should finish by September.

"Starbucks has a 10-week build-out schedule [once construction is finished] and are hoping to be open by mid-November, just in time for the holidays," he added.
