DuPage Township Plans Breakfast Fundraiser For Food Pantry

The fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 25 at The Levy Center in Bolingbrook.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — DuPage Township will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser for its food pantry on Feb. 25.

The fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at The Levy Center, 251 Canterbury Lane, in Bolingbrook. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids under 14.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the DuPage Township food pantry.

The food pantry, at 719 Parkwood Ave., in Romeoville, is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. It serves over 1,000 families a month, according to the township.

Needed donations include toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, sanitary pads, tampons, diapers, razors, deodorants and soap; and non-perishable food items like spaghetti sauce, noodles, boxed mashed potatoes, Hamburger Helper, peanut butter jelly, canned vegetables, canned fruit, soup, coffee and tea.
