E-Bike Store, Car Wash Ownership Change: Bolingbrook Business Briefs

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A new electric bike shop is opening in Bolingbrook, and a car wash franchise has also changed ownership, according to Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta's Facebook page.

The Bolingbrook Mayor often shares business news about projects in town on her Facebook, and writes that, "while an opening date is not always clear at the beginning of the project, my goal is to be the first to let you know of the development that is happening."

The new bike shop, Next E-Bikes, has applied for a certificate of occupancy at 492 W. Boughton Road, in Suite B. The shop will sell electric bikes.

Also, Zips Car Wash has applied for a certificate of occupancy at two locations: 600 E. Boughton Road and 246 S. Weber Road. Both locations are Jet Brite locations.

In the fall, Zips Car Wash acquired Jet Brite Car Wash, which included 11 locations across the Chicago area. Zips Car Wash is headquartered in Texas.
