Farmers Market Set to Kickoff Tonight at The Promenade

Farmers market is open from 4-8 p.m. and runs through October 13.

Just in time to usher in summer, Bolingbrook’s Farmers Market will return to tonight under new management and a new outlook.

The new farmers market will still be held at The Promenade, but will switch locations to in front of the Ulta storefront on the north side of the mall. The event will also be run by new director Mary Nurse of Make it Happen DuPage.

The event will also look to become more kid friendly and offer a new craft kids can work on once per month. Tonight, a Bolingbrook Fire Department fire truck will be on hand for kids to play on and firefighters will be available for questions, said Promenade spokeswoman Donna Scherner.
