FBI Offers Reward for Bandaged Bandit in Bolingbrook Bank Robbery

Man robbed First Merit Bank on Jan. 12.

The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of a man suspected of robbing a Bolingbrook bank last week, stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect, described as a white male between the ages of 40 and 50, presented a note to a teller demanding money at about 2:40 p.m. Jan. 12 at First Merit Bank, 333 Quadrangle Drive, the FBI said.

The man had bandages on his face, according to BanditTracker.com, and was wearing a blue knit cap. He was described as being 5’3,” weighing between 190 and 200 pounds with brown hair.

The FBI is offering an unspecified reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the FBI at 312-421-6700.
