There are three trustee seats up for election in April.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Although it seems far away, preparations for the April 4, 2023 local consolidated election have already begun.

The First Party for Bolingbrook slate, which includes current trustees Michael Carpanzano and Jean Kelly, and newcomer Jose Quintero, submitted their candidate forms and signed petitions to the Bolingbrook Village Clerk Marti Barton on Monday.

Candidate nominating petitions are filed with the entity the candidate is looking to run in, according to the Will County Clerk's Office. For the Consolidated Election, the Will County Clerk’s Office only files petitions for school board candidates.
