State and local partnerships are vital to supporting families, and I will continue to amplify these and other local needs in the General Assembly.”

The designs for the new playgrounds will be finished in the spring of 2024, and construction should be finished by fall of 2024, according to the park district. Community members will also have opportunities to provide input into the planning process.
