Golden Chopsticks Closing Tuesday

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The beloved Bolingbrook restaurant, Golden Chopsticks, will have its last day of business on Nov. 15.

Former Mayor Roger Claar shared on his Facebook that the owners, Peter and Elsie Chan, are retiring.

The business opened in Bolingbrook in 1985, and has been an area favorite ever since.

Golden Chopsticks is located at 361 S. Bolingbrook Drive. The business will be open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Bolingbrook Village Board has approved a special use permit for a cannabis dispensary at the location. The dispensary hopes to open by April 2023.
