Heart Haven OutReach Hosts Raising Hope Golf Outing and Gala

Join Heart Haven OutReach (H2O) on July 11th, at the award winning Bolingbrook Golf Club, as they raise funds to provide mentoring and support services to struggling teens in our community.

Registration is now under way for the Heart Haven OutReach’s 21st Annual “Raising Hope” Golf Outing and Gala Dinner Event on Thursday, July 11, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodéo Drive.

This is the primary fundraiser for the nonprofit organization that supports and mentors struggling middle and high school teens in the greater Bolingbrook and Romeoville areas. The community will come together to raise hope ‘fore’ our teens during a time when they need us the most. The event will include a cookout buffet lunch, an 18-hole “Scramble” tournament on state-of-the-art, 18-hole Arthur Hill-designed Bolingbrook Golf Course, and a gala dinner featuring golf awards, prizes, auctions, and raffles. The cost for lunch, golf and dinner is $175 per person. Not a Golfer? Gala Dinner Only Tickets are also available for $65 per person.

“Funds raised will be used to help H2O continue offering free support programs and transportation for teens in the greater Bolingbrook and Romeoville area,” said Ryan Lawrence, executive director of Heart Haven OutReach. “Without this type of support from donors and the community, hundreds of students would not have access to the opportunities and services we provide.”

Golf check-in and lunch begins at 11:00am, followed by a 12:15pm shotgun start. This year’s Lunch Sponsors are County Prestress, and Ken and Sue McConnaughay. Several other event sponsors will also have prizes and giveaways at their holes throughout the event.

Individuals not inclined to golf may still support Heart Haven OutReach by attending the 5:30pm Social Hour and 6:30pm Dinner Gala immediately following the Golf Outing.

Heart Haven OutReach is a safe haven for middle and high school teens experiencing struggles and challenges in their lives. Heart Haven OutReach is a place where teens can come to talk through their problems; build supportive, caring relationships; and learn that they do not have to face their struggles alone.
