Hidden Lakes Trout Farm Closed Until Saturday For Restocking

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Hidden Lakes Trout Farm will be closed for trout restocking starting, in preparation for the fall trout season, according to a release from the forest preserve.

The farm will remain closed until Saturday, and a portion of the DuPage River Trail that goes through the preserve will also be closed during this time. Trout season begins on Saturday at the preserve.

Closure signs will be posted for the public, the preserve said.

Trout fishing will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Hidden Lakes. All anglers who participate must have a state trout stamp and must follow all Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Forest Preserve regulations. The daily limit is five.
