Hidden Oaks Preserve, Nature Center Closed Wednesday Due To Road Work

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Access to Hidden Oaks Preserve and Hidden Oaks Nature Center is closed Wednesday, according to the forest preserve.

The Village of Bolingbrook has starting resurfacing work on Trout Farm Road, and work to replace the road's pavement started with milling on Wednesday, the preserve said. The first phase of the project will last most of the day on Wednesday.

Paving the road will take place next week, and will also require the preserve access to be closed.

Access to Hidden Lakes Trout Farm is still available from the DuPage River Trail via the Forest Preserve's Whalon Lake preserve.
