Kafe Du Monde Closing, New Owners Take Over Space

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Kafe Du Monde, which opened in 2020 in Bolingbrook, will be closing its doors as new owners take over the space.

"After months of serving our beloved community, Kafe Du Monde will be closing its doors due to a change in ownership," the business shared on Facebook.

Village officials announced that The Crafty Bean has applied for a certificate of occupancy for the space at 345 N. Schmidt Road.

"We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and loyalty," Kafe Du Monde said on its Facebook page.

The business said it is excited "to pass the torch to new owners who will bring fresh ideas and experiences to the coffee scene."
