Learn About Bolingbrook Pack 134 Cub Scouts
Bolingbrook Cub Scouts work on life skills that include family, conservation, creativity, faith, collaboration and work ethic.

Why Scouting? Even in the midst of a pandemic, parents were looking for something safe and fun to do with their kids. During lockdown and mitigation’s scouting continued! Here in Bolingbrook, Pack 134 Cub Scouts moved to an online and outside meeting format, meeting on zoom and in parks when able.
Beyond the pandemic, why Cub Scouts? Cub Scouts work on life skills that include family, conservation, creativity, faith, collaboration and work ethic to name a few. In addition, the Pack 134 Cub Scouts is a family pack. That means that boys AND girls in grades K-5 can participate. We always remind families that Cub Scouts doesn’t need to replace (unless you choose to) another activity. It can be worked on alongside a sport, religious education, music lesson, or theater. In Cub Scouts, kids and families make life-long friendships along with all the skills they’ve learned!
Pack 134 Cub Scouts meet once a month (3rd Tuesday of the month) as a Pack. The Pack can be thought of as all the grade levels of Scouts. Dens (specific grade level) meet 2-3 more times a month to work on skills (achievements) at their rank. In addition, we often have other fun activities that your family can choose to do such as baseball games, hiking, STEM and woodworking to name a few we are doing this summer.
