Let's Go to College: Chants Rise Up During Tibbott 'College Week' Pep Rally
Parent University is from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Tibbott Elementary School in Bolingbrook; College Week is about creating awareness of opportunities for Valley View Students.
Tibbott Elementary School kicked off College Week Monday with a good old-fashioned outdoor pep rally.
Following a parade from inside the school to the parking lot by students from every class carrying numerous banners representing their adopted colleges and universities, the University of St. Francis Cheer Team got things going with some cheers. Students from several Tibbott classrooms led cheers and danced to The College Bound Chant, Let’s Go To College, the Tibbott school song, The Tibbott Tiger Chant, Go College and more.
College Week includes mock dorm room visits, sports apparel day, college colors day and Parent University from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
