Meet This Week's Adoptable Shelter Pets, Pepper & Sassy

PEPPER (cat)
Pepper is a dainty little lady with tons of confidence and the most adorable little “mew”. She likes to be held, as long as she’s in the spotlight. She’s cute and curious; and is also sleek and athletic as well as food motivated. Since she loves food and is so eager to please, she may be willing to learn a few tricks! This friendly girl is comfortable around people, but she doesn’t care for other cats, so she needs to be an only pet. This sweet baby would love to find her forever home and best friend.

SASSY (cat)
Little Sassy Pants is a delightful girl who is quiet, calm, sweet, and quite affectionate. She was pregnant and sadly lost her babies, but they were able to save her. Sassy is very friendly and seems to enjoy the company of everyone she meets, head-butting her companions to let them know she’s ready for attention. She also likes to play and have fun. She’d likely do well with other cats, as long as they’re properly introduced. This special girl would bring lots of happiness, love and warmth to any forever home.

Adoptions are held at the Bolingbrook PetSmart on Weber Road from 1-3 on Sundays and 5-7 on Wednesdays. If the cat you’re looking for isn’t there or those times don’t work for you, please call Humane Haven Animal Shelter (630-378-4208) for more information or an appointment.

All Humane Haven cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, and have their distemper and rabies shots.
