Meet This Weeks Adoptable Shelter Pets, Poppy & Gracie

POPPY (cat)
Poppy is a very gentle, friendly and affectionate cat that loves being with people. She comes up to you and rubs against your leg to say “Hi, I’m here!” She’s an active girl who enjoys playtime and having fun; and she hasn’t met a toy she doesn’t like yet! Poppy is very nice and will do well with children. She’s a little bossy with other cats, but with a proper introduction she should get along fine with them. This all-around wonderful girl will bring fun, adventure, snuggles and happiness to any forever home.

GRACIE (cat)
Petite Gracie is a very sweet, adorable and gentle girl. She’s comfortable with people and loves to interact with everyone she meets. She’s playful and has a ball chasing stringy toys all over the place and tossing toy mice into the air. She loves to be near people; wanting to be held, carried and soak up affection. She’d likely do well with kids. She’s a little bit on the timid side, but with a slow introduction she should be ok with other cats. This delightful girl will bring lots of fun, love and laughter to any forever home.

Adoptions are held at the Bolingbrook PetSmart on Weber Road from 1-3 on Sundays and 5-7 on Wednesdays. If the cat you’re looking for isn’t there or those times don’t work for you, please call Humane Haven Animal Shelter (630-378-4208) for more information or an appointment.

All Humane Haven cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, and have their distemper and rabies shots.
